Microscopie à force atomique; atomic force microscopy

Microscopy technique from the local probe microscope family, enabling biological samples to be imaged in liquid media with nanometric resolution, and their nanomechanical and nanoadhesive properties to be measured by force spectroscopy.

Substances polymères extracellulaires: extracellular polymeric substances

A set of molecules made up of proteins, amino acids and polysaccharides excreted by microalgae as they grow. The composition and quantity of EPS produced by the cells depend on the species and, for the same species, on the culture conditions.
