2. Types of measurement. Basic networks

We distinguish between instruments that give access to an absolute measurement of gravity, and relative instruments that do not measure the value of the acceleration of gravity, but rather a variation in it. For example, if we consider two measuring points A and B, and we know the absolute value of gravityg A in A, measuring the variation in gravity between A and B, g AB , will give us the value of gravity in B.
