5.1 Calibration of deflection voltmeters
These devices are calibrated directly from a calibrated voltage generator. These standards, whose ratings generally range from a few millivolts to 1,100 V, generally have one-year specifications of less than a few 10 -4 up to 100 kHz, and a few 10 -3 up to 1 MHz (for the 1,100 V rating, an amplifier is associated with it in certain frequency ranges).
