4. Conclusion

Several methods and means of measurement exist and can be used to determine the intensity of an electric current. In this article, we look at the subject from the point of view of measurable parameters and their description, the form of electric current and the particular aspects to be taken into account. Measurement principles based either on the use of an ammeter or a current sensor are briefly described and presented from a pragmatic point of view.
