2.1 Needle-type voltmeters

There are still a number of needle-type voltmeters used in industry.

Although these devices are not very accurate (of the order of ± 1.10 –3 V ) and fragile, they are still useful for certain specific applications. For further details, please refer to [R 945] Analog electrical indicating devices.
