3. Metrology platform on Renater

After this brief overview of the problems associated with measurements in communication networks –, in particular in the Internet –, and of the various existing measurement techniques, we're now going to take a closer look at an example with which we're particularly familiar as contributors: the metrology platform deployed around the Renater network as part of the METROPOLIS project.
