The following definitions are taken from the International Vocabulary of Metrology (VIM)

Measurement uncertainty

Non-negative parameter characterizing the dispersion of values assigned to a measurand, based on the information used.

Mesurande : measurand

Quantity to be measured.

Measurement result

Set of values assigned to a measurand, supplemented by any other relevant information available.

Intermediate precision condition of Measurement

Measurement condition in a set of conditions that include the same measurement procedure, the same location and repeated measurements on the same or similar objects over an extended period of time, but may include other conditions that are varied.
