 INTRODUCTION

This article contains tables and charts of the statistical functions used in the articles (Statistical observation), (Estimators and hypothesis testing), (Analysis of variance and regression). It therefore complements each of these articles.

To make them easier to use for those who don't have to use them every day, we thought it would be useful to remind you of the meaning of the thresholds in question, especially in cases where several conventions coexist in different works. We strongly recommend that you always draw a small picture – as shown in each of the following paragraphs – when using the table.
