3.1 Exchanged power equation
Let's now consider any two dynamic systems with resonant modes in a frequency band over which we wish to perform an energy balance analysis. The associated resonant frequencies are estimated for each system in isolation, by blocking the interface with its neighbor.
It is also assumed that the coupling between these two systems has little influence on these two frequency series. Since only modes with close resonance frequencies exchange significant vibratory energy, only these are considered in the estimation of the vibratory power exchanged.
