5. Conclusion

In order to highlight the general approach, we felt it more appropriate to describe a project in the making. The participatory biomonitoring project is truly a social and scientific innovation, in the sense that it is far more ambitious than simply changing behavior. Indeed, in a local political context that is very active on the issues of mobility and changes in usage with a view to adapting to climate change (SCoT du Pays de l'Or, Trame verte et bleue, etc.), the potential of this project is considerable in terms of the participative construction of public decision-making and the stimulation or even facilitation of participative management of the territory, in particular to identify, mobilize and integrate stakeholders in the participative process.
