2.1 Database

Orders of magnitude are established, with a standard deviation whenever the number of observations allows, for the following parameters: water consumption in liters of water per liter of wine per year, excluding cooling (table 1 ), effluent concentrations during the harvest period (table 2 ) and specific pollution loads in red and white winemaking [1, 2] . Despite the disadvantage of too few data, a trend is emerging across the whole country: water consumption is around 0.8 liters of water per liter of wine per year, excluding cooling, and effluent concentrations during the harvest period...
