4. Egg product production

4.1 General design of the egg plant

Like all factories today, the design is based on an economical, versatile and scalable plant; a "shoebox", with no interior posts, and with removable partitions enabling the modification of plant and machinery to keep pace with constantly evolving processes. It is essential to have access to water and significant electrical power, to plan for possible expansion, and to locate it close to transport networks.

Cold is an important part of the installation, so thermal insulation of buildings and floors is essential.
