3. Formulation

Mix formulation is the responsibility of the company's Research & Development department. This department is at the heart of the company's innovation process, and underpins all applications which, through a series of calculations and tests, aim to meet the customer expectations identified by the marketing and sales departments.

Two areas are essential for successful formulation:

  • the creation of a database containing all the important information on each ingredient, including chemical composition, functionalities, recommended doses, substitutions between ingredients, positive interactions (synergies) and negative interactions (limitations), storage conditions and times, precautions for use, processing conditions, material costs, etc. ... ;

  • the development of software capable, initially,...
