Calco-carbonic purification

Juice clarification is achieved by gradually adding slaked lime [Ca(OH) 2 ] during pre-liming to form bonds with impurities, followed by liming to introduce excess lime, and finally by precipitating the lime during carbonation with CO 2 -rich gas bubbling.
