2.1 Lighting

  • Lighting functions

    Lighting has several functions:

    • to accomplish a task (work lighting) ;

    • give a perception of the environment while contributing to the previous function (mood lighting);

    • ensure traffic flow in normal times, as well as in special circumstances such as fire and/or panic (emergency lighting);

    • enhance all or part of a building ;

    • be energy-efficient.
