1. Basic regulations

Electrical installations are subject to various regulations, which can be classified according to the ministerial authority from which they derive.

The main regulations applying to buildings are as follows:

  • construction: decree of October 22, 1969: compliance of new buildings with standards NF C 14-100 (Connections to the public low-voltage network) and NF C 15-100 (Low-voltage electrical installations) ;

  • work :

    • Decree 2010-1016 of August 30, 2010 on employer obligations for the use of electrical installations in the workplace,

    • decree 2010-1017 of August 30, 2010 on the obligations...
