Smart Grid

All information technologies coupled with an electrical network infrastructure, to optimize the production, transmission, distribution and consumption of electricity. The aim is energy efficiency to reduce our environmental impact.

Network synchrophasor or vector meter; PMU, Phasor Measurement Unit

Electronic device for measuring current and voltage signals in the complex plane, synchronously with GPS. The aim is to improve knowledge of the electrical network in real time.

PDC, Phasor Data Concentrator

Platform for analyzing subnetwork PMU measurement data for accurate, rapid diagnosis and decision-making to control the condition of the power network.
