5. Conclusion

Urban logistics areas are the last (or first) links in a logistics chain that needs to be considered in its entirety . In fact, the systems upstream (or downstream) of the urban segment are essential to the performance of terminal distribution. Insofar as they make it possible for goods to arrive in the city on a mass scale, and in some cases on a shared basis, an operation that is fundamental to the economic and functional performance of ELUs.
