Among these, a major chemical accident, with risks for employees, neighboring populations or the company's brand image, is the most likely scenario. Despite all possible preparations to avoid a crisis, there is still a tiny probability that it will occur, with potentially disastrous consequences for the company, ranging from disruption of operations to permanent cessation of activity.
