1. You are aware of the requirements applicable before submitting your application

Unlike the authorization system, the operator knows in advance what general (or standard) requirements will be imposed. These orders, applicable to each nomenclature heading, apply automatically to new facilities, and specify the deadlines and conditions under which they apply to existing facilities.

It is therefore the operator's responsibility to justify compliance with these requirements in his application file, by presenting the measures adopted and the expected performance to guarantee compliance. Guides to help justify compliance have been drawn up for each heading and ministerial decree by the Ministry of the Environment, and are available on the Internet (see "Further information", websites).
