6. Frequently asked questions

When storing a liquid chemical product, is it compulsory to purchase physical retention tanks?

No, the regulatory obligation does not concern the purchase of physical retention (or retention tank), which can be a solution, but rather "retention capacity". Regulations require that any spillage of chemical products be collected to prevent pollution or accidents. Provided certain rules are respected (product incompatibility, material resistance, absence of risk, compliance with other requirements, etc.), the storage room (or storage area) can play the role of spill containment. The important thing is the result!
