8. POI, PPI and links with other systems

Emergency plans (whether internal or external) are linked to a number of other systems; we have discussed the notion of a common POI and the POI / PPI link, but more broadly, other emergency management plans can be interfaced with each other: business continuity plan, local safeguard plan, etc. The interactions are numerous and essential to good overall industrial risk management.
