Information

Information consists of informing local players and the general public of facts, data and intentions relating to a project or an approach. Information is a prerequisite for any dialogue.

Codecision

Decision taken jointly by several authorities.

Occasional public service employee

Anyone who, solely in his or her capacity as a private individual, makes an effective contribution to a public service for a purpose of general interest, either jointly with public officials, or under their direction, or spontaneously.

Consultation

Exchanges between the various players involved in and affected by a project, designed to share information and ideas with a view, if possible, to progressing or enriching the project....
