6. Audit actors

According to the definition given in paragraph 3.6 of the previous version of NF EN ISO 19011 dating from 2005, the audit sponsor is "the organization or person requesting an audit". A note specifies that "the sponsor may be the auditee or any other organization that has the regulatory or contractual right to request an audit".
