3.1 Principles of a management systems audit
The standard NF EN ISO 19011 :2018 "Guidelines for the audit of management systems" cites the principles of auditing in article 4. These principles provide an understanding of the fundamentals of auditing.
Seven principles are specified:
a) "Ethics: the foundation of professionalism ;
b) "Impartial reporting: the obligation to give a true and accurate account ;
c) "Professional conscientiousness: the diligent and informed attitude during the audit;
