In order to find solutions for organizations to the problems of skills and knowledge obsolescence, it is necessary to model the phenomena.
Once the models and assumptions have been established, we can run simulations to test the effectiveness of the strategies within the limits of the model.
In this section, we will first discuss the use of simulations to solve human resources management problems, then set out the model's assumptions and the random events that may occur and to which the simulated strategy must respond. Finally, we will describe the strategies tested in the scientific literature.
