4. Mistakes to avoid
4.1 Don't neglect to follow up on repairs carried out by a substituted third party
The "substituted third party" system does not totally disengage you from the administration. You remain liable in the event of the third party's default, whatever the reason for that default. It may therefore be a good idea to include a contractual mechanism whereby, at your request, the substituted third party informs you of the progress of restoration work, and any difficulties encountered.
