1. Context and typology of corporate behaviors
Biodiversity is characterized by numerous definitions, reflecting its complexity. For the purposes of this article, we have chosen the following definition: biodiversity represents both the biological richness constituted by all living organisms, and the relationships these organisms may have with the environments in which they live (Convention on Biological Diversity). Jacques Weber described it as "the multiplicity of interactions in changing environments", which has the advantage of adding a dynamic dimension.
The term "product" is also used throughout this article. This refers to the definition used in standardization, and covers both material objects and services.
