4. Understanding the role of approved bodies

In the ICPE sector, regulations require operators to use an approved body to inspect certain installations subject to declaration, and to inspect cooling towers. Approved laboratories are also available to carry out analyses.

4.1 Inspection of facilities subject to declaration and periodic inspection
