5.1 Check that the chosen organization is still accredited
Accreditation in conformity assessment is always granted for a limited period. Throughout the accreditation period, the organization is regularly assessed, and at the end of the accreditation period, it undergoes a renewal assessment.
You can check for valid accreditation with the relevant ministry (e.g. the Ministry of Labor) or with CoFRAC (the French Accreditation Committee).
