2. Understanding the role of certified organizations

In the field of ICPEs, there are optional certifications and mandatory certifications.

2.1 Optional certifications

They allow you to choose a company or design office whose competence has been certified by a third party.

This is the case, for example, with the following certifications:

  • certification issued by OPQIBI (Professional Engineering Qualification Body) for service providers working in engineering, particularly in the environmental field;
