Operator

Individual or legal entity holding (or applying for) an authorization to operate. A person submitting an application for authorization to operate (DAE) is also commonly referred to as a petitioner.

Classified plant

Installations classified for environmental protection (ICPE) are facilities operated or owned by any natural or legal person, public or private, which may present dangers or inconveniences either for :

• neighborhood convenience;

• HEALTH ;

• SAFETY ;

• public health;

• agriculture ;

• protecting nature and the environment;

• conservation of sites and monuments....
