What to do when a heading exceeds the declaration threshold?

In this case, check :

• Check that business volumes are indeed necessary, and see if they cannot be reduced.

Example: in the case of a declaration relating to the storage of plastics, ask whether the volume stored cannot be reduced.

• If this is not possible, contact the local DREAL. The operator will then be asked to draw up an operating permit file.
