1. Project implementation and actions

1.1 Site description

Four study sites with contrasting characteristics, representative of situations encountered in the Paris region, have been chosen for the establishment of experimental vegetable gardens. These four sites are currently monitored on a regular basis and do not represent any danger to the public. However, they are graded A, B, C and D in order to keep their location anonymous. Indeed, the measurements carried out as part of the POTEX project allow us to conclude (subject to certain reasonable precautions) that gardening in Paris can be carried out with peace of mind. However, reading the results and interpreting them remains complex for non-experts, which is why communication must be particularly accessible.
