3. Conclusion

In view of all this, it is undeniable that the safety of industrial facilities is, and will be, an increasingly important concern in the years to come.

However, it's worth taking a step back and considering that the integration of safety into industrial safety cannot be immediate; it requires action to be taken at different timescales.

While it is possible to reinforce the physical protection of installations almost immediately, this must be done in a way that is consistent with production requirements and industrial safety.

In the medium term, we need to address the issue of verifying the integrity of industrial players, while respecting individual freedoms.

Finally, it's over the long term that we'll be able to develop a "safety culture" along the lines of the safety culture that emerged...
