4. Testing and inspection

4.1 General principles

The tests and inspections required of concrete manufacturers and of manufacturers of waterproofing and sealing products and systems, and their frequency, are defined in the relevant standards.

• In the field of quality assurance, we usually distinguish between :

  • internal control, which is the responsibility of the company and includes internal control by site personnel and external control by personnel from outside the site;

  • external inspection, carried out by the project manager or another service provider appointed by the client.
