5. Conclusion

Necessary in the manufacturing process, water is at the heart of most industrial activities, which produce wastewater that must be treated with respect for the environment. Drinking water, boiler water, process water, cooling water, washing water, wastewater, reused water, recycled water... so many uses that the management of the water cycle in industry is a complex economic and environmental challenge, specific to each activity.
