5. Conclusion and recommendations

Prototyping validated the interest and functioning of the biodiverse wall system. From a species point of view, we can see that plants specializing in walls or anthropized environments are the ones that developed best, as they were better adapted to the drastic conditions of the wall. One recommendation is to give preference to plants whose growth habit is adapted to vertical growth, and which prefer neutral or basic environments. However, in bucket form and with automated irrigation, other species could survive and develop, and it doesn't seem necessary to limit the plant community to wall specialist plants. The latter would not require as much substrate and could be the subject of a different design.
