4.1 Characteristics of the 87Sr core

Strontium is a member of the alkaline earth element family (Z = 38). We will return to some of this element's chemical and biochemical properties in the next paragraph. The main NMR characteristics of 87 Sr are presented in Table 1 . At first glance, this is clearly a difficult nucleus to study.
