At present, there is no single water treatment solution that is economically viable for small industrial structures, technically feasible on an industrial scale and environmentally satisfactory. Combined oxidation/bioadsorption could be a promising decontamination treatment for reducing pollution by hazardous substances such as metals and organic molecules.
