3. Implication of capillary electrophoresis in the study of enzymatic reactions

CE was first used in 1991 by Banke et al. to monitor alkaline protease activity. Since then, CE has been developed for the determination of enzyme kinetics and the identification of substrates, activators and inhibitors of numerous enzymes.
