Improving the performance of microsupercapacitors would remove one of the main obstacles to the development of energy-independent embedded systems. More detailed information on microsupercapacitor applications can be found in [RE 210] . As the electrode material plays a crucial role in the performance of these microdevices, various innovative materials have been integrated and evaluated as electrodes for microsupercapacitors .
