3. Application example
The co-optimization approach is applied to the case study of an industrial port area, to illustrate the benefits of a collective self-consumption operation with optimized energy management and component sizing. Based on the optimization results, a detailed analysis of the optimal configuration in terms of overall economic profitability is proposed. A sensitivity study of the various technical and economic assumptions is then presented.
