4. Conclusions and outlook
The study presented in this article has demonstrated the benefits of optimizing both the design phase and the management of a collective self-consumption operation. An original methodology for combined optimization of individual energy management, collective energy distribution and component sizing was proposed. In particular, an original allocation key was defined, which maximizes the income of producers (and therefore investors) by allocating energy to consumers with the highest feed-in tariff. The optimization process was then applied to the case study of a collective self-consumption operation in an industrial port area, to demonstrate the benefits of energy exchange between several industrial companies.
