One of the well-identified corollaries of the increasing power of new experimental facilities based on particle gas pedals is now the need to use teleoperation techniques:
While one of the strong points in the design of gas pedals has always been that maintenance can be carried out manually a few days after the beam has been stopped, changes in regulatory constraints, the increase in machine power and the ever-increasing operating constraints on the facility mean that this criterion can no longer be met to the letter.
