3.1 Standards and regulations for the gas transmission system
As soon as they meet the requirements set out in article R. 555-1 du Code de l’environnement, the installation of natural gas transmission facilities is subject to authorization, preceded by an impact study and a public inquiry, in accordance with paragraph 3 of the aforementioned article. Applications for authorization are submitted to the Ministry responsible for natural gas transmission pipelines (currently the Ministry of Energy).
