13. Conclusion

HACCP is a method—a structured approach based on seven principles—that enables organizations to anticipate and prevent all food safety issues by implementing predefined operational activities, resources, and technical solutions that complement a solid, documented foundation of good practices.

Thus, HACCP provides reassurance and builds trust. It reassures by demonstrating the organization’s ability to identify hazards that genuinely threaten the safety of its products, to organize its activities to control them, and, if necessary, to provide proof of this!

After several decades of use and developments of varying significance, the HACCP method has proven its value in ensuring food production meets high safety standards and in fostering a certain level of food safety culture within facilities.
