Mistakes to avoid
Preparing your project: opportunity and feasibility studies

Don't ignore these studies: the resources they mobilize upstream of the project will enable you to avoid countless unpleasant surprises during project management, saving resources, avoiding stress, and gaining the confidence (and motivation) of your teams!

Don't forget to differentiate between "opportunity study" and "feasibility study", and don't go straight to the choice of a scenario, or even to the scoping note, without first having respected the project validation stage. If you do, you'll be faced with difficulties concerning the strategic alignment of the solutions chosen, the adoption of solutions shared by the departments concerned, and the operational performance of the projects. Bear in mind that these analyses are intended more to suggest alternatives than to justify solutions already chosen!
