7.1 Prevent Condensation and Mold

The indoor air in a building generally contains water vapor that condenses upon contact with a colder surface. Since the temperature of the walls in a passive house is close to room temperature, this phenomenon is reduced or even nonexistent. However, it’s important to take this into account.
