6.1.1 Gold nanoparticle films (hydrophilic) in surfactant films

The organization of gold nanoparticles confined between the two surfactant membranes of a "black film" bubble is studied by AFM in contact mode after transfer to a hydrogenated Si (111) surface. The images obtained show large, very homogeneous areas (5 to 100 μm in size) whose thickness is determined by the stacking of the various objects present (a layer of surfactant, plus islands of nanoparticles in a dense arrangement...
